McKenzie Wark: Underworker for the spectacle

Two further critiques of McKenzie Wark. The first concentrates on his cunning attempt to dress up a marketing technique as, er, a marketing technique:

McKenzie Wark’s Wonderful Figurine

And the second criticises Wark the specialist:

McKenzie Wark and the Curators of Decay

Wark, professional thinker seamlessly slotted into the academic spectacle, has chosen his slavish specialty: “interpeting” the Situationists for his fellow “creatives”.

Creatives, one more effort if you want to become revolutionists!
